Leading manufacturer for special transports vehicles
The Faymonville Group is the leading full-range manufacturer of special vehicles for heavy-load transport and special transport. The semi-trailers, lowbed trailers, modular vehicles, and self-propelled vehicles they produce can transport anything exceptionally heavy, long, wide, or tall!
End-to-end Salesforce process
Campaign Audience Builder is an integral part of Faymonville's Salesforce tech stack and helped move their commercial processes to the Salesforce platform.
It was the missing piece to reduce involved systems heavily. Before, Faymonville worked with external databases and BI tools to build their audiences and sent their mailings with an additional external tool. This approach was highly time-consuming, complex, and inefficient, as you had to work in multiple systems for different processes. Exporting, transforming, and importing data was slow and also error-prone.
Now, the whole process chain takes place in Salesforce, using Campaign Audience Builder for segmentation and Account Engagement (Pardot) for all email communications. One significant advantage of using CAB for Faymonville is accessing many different objects to filter within one audience. Check the audience spotlight example below to see the nested filter criteria.
Before, it took roughly one working day (8 hours) to segment the annual booklet recipients through different tools and databases. This is now done within 5 minutes using CAB. That's a whopping 96x faster than before and saves many days spent segmenting each month.
From start to finish
Here's an example of an end-to-end Salesforce process chain.
Segmentation
First, you create a new Salesforce campaign. You then create your audience and add the results to your campaign, either one-time or scheduled (to keep the campaign members up-to-date over time).
Email Marketing
In Pardot, a dynamic list will pull all Prospects who are members of the initially created campaign into that list. This list will contain the recipients that receive emails (for example, an event invitation). The email has clickable and tracked buttons (Accept Invitation or Decline Invitation). This action updates the campaign member status (Accepted or Declined).
Reporting & Insights
In Salesforce, you create a report on the Campaign Members and their Status, giving you a perfect overview of how many people accepted, declined, or didn't respond.
Campaign Categories
It's always interesting to see what type of campaigns companies run using the Salesforce ecosystem. Here are a few examples of how Faymonville utilizes its tools for some campaigns.
Products News: Inform specific contacts about the latest product updates that are relevant for them based on their purchasing history and other factors.
Satisfaction Journeys: Gather feedback from recent buyers to optimize products and services.
Event Invitations: Invite contacts that purchased products above a certain revenue threshold to special events.
Audience spotlight
Here's a great example of how filter criteria can be spread across many objects in your database (be they standard or custom objects) and that it's crucial to access them all easily in one audience.
Simplified, this audience returns all Decisionmakers of Companies, located in specific countries, that are assigned to a selected Account Brand, that picked up a new vehicle of that brand in the past fisqual year.
